A Painting a Day - Day 47

Summer is passing away so quickly. But I still see butterflies here and there. This was a really great year for them. I loved seeing all the monarchs. I saw a zebra swallowtail in my front yard which was pretty special. A couple of tiger swallowtails came by too.

This is the eastern tiger swallowtail. They have some orange on their lower wings while the western variety has only blue on the lower wings.
